It has been hailed as a multi-million makeover two years in the making, and we are delighted to say that if this is the case – Fenwick‘s new Food Hall was worth every moment spent planning and designing this inspirational new space.
A delight for shoppers and foodies alike; Fenwick’s new Food Hall is a light, bright, user-friendly space which houses a new wine bar and dedicated alcohol hall (hello!), Mediterranean restaurant Fuego, Pan Asian restaurant Ko Sai and possibly the cutest bakery-patisserie-café called Mason + Rye. Not to forget The Saltwater Fish Co fishmonger and Blagdon Farm Shop butchers, a delicatessen counter with a takeaway menu, the Naked Deli and Ouseburn Coffee Company stand – clearly customers’ every need has clearly been catered for. There is also fresh honey from the store’s rooftop bees!
The makeover brings Fenwick’s much-loved Food Hall up to date so it is in keeping with the state-of-the-art fashion, beauty, interiors and children’s departments. A perfect finishing just in time for Christmas and the all-important Fenwick’s Christmas Window we loved the chance as locals and long-time Fenwick’s customers to raise a toast to their flawless new makeover and look forward to spending many a happy hour browsing their shelves for goodies in the future.
The evening was a wonderful event, organised by local PR agency O PR – guests got to sample an extraordinary range of the Food Hall’s produce with a glass of prosecco. Fenwick’s staff were an absolute credit to the store – and the evening was topped off with the gift of a rose for each of us from on-site florist Diana Kay’s as we left the warmth of the store for the dark October night and a fabulous goodie bag for each guest.
